Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyse the the ability of mastery mathematic consept of the student of Junior high school in solving the the mathematic problem in the material sistym consept of two variable are observed based on gender. This study was begin by determine the subject of the study by approching the mathematic teacher by consider the march result of the first semester of grade VIII. Both of the subject were choosen students who has good ability in the mastery of Mathematic or in communication and also was ready to be choose as a subject. Then the resercher gave the solving tasks and innterview for the Students. The validity of the data used trigulation time. The result of the study showed that the prosess of the mastery mathematic consept by the male students that observed from translation aspect was able to explain the goal of the even by their own language. Students was able to express what were they knew and what were they asked. For the guessing aspect, the students were able to guess the even by found the consept appropriately in doing the even. The students were able to allying the score in the mathematic symbols and able to explained the calculation how to finish the even by getting the appropriately result. After done the calculation, students were able to make conclusion of their work by their own language. The male student were able to solved the mathematic problem using the procedures are there in the indicator. To the female students who were observed from the translation aspect, they were able to explained the goal of the even by their own language. They were able to express what were they knew and they asked. In the guessing aspect, students were able to use appropriate consept in tranlate the meaning of the symbol in the formula. In the extrapolation aspect, students were able to make conclusion of the result of the work by using their own language. The famle students were able to solved the mathematic problem by the procedures are there in the indicator.
