Abstract

This research aims to know implementation of learning with AIR learning, and to know students mathematical understanding ability and to know whether there is effect of auditory intellectualy repetition learning on mathematical understanding ability students for topic discussion comparison in class VII SMP Ki Hajar Dewantoro Kupang City academic year 2017/2018. This research was a descriptif kuantitatif study with the one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this research is students class VII which the numbered of students are 30 people. The instrument used including an student mathematical understanding ability test and observation shit. Data used in this research are pretest and posttest value data from experiment class with auditory intellectualy repetition learning. The data obtained will analysed using SPSS program 22.0 version. The test was analysed by normality test with using one sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov and hypothesis testing using paired sample test, after the data were analysed obtained value Sig.(2-tailed) = 0,000 < 0,05 and tcount = 16,781 > 2,045 = ttable . The result of this research are: (1) implementation of learning with problem posing learning in class VII have very good category; (2) students mathematical understanding ability after with used auditory intellectualy repetition learning have pretty good categories; (3) that there significant effect of auditory intellectualy repetition learning on student mathematical understanding ability for topic discussion comparison in class VII SMP Ki Hajar Dewantoro Kupang City academic year 2017/2018. Therefore, the authors suggest for teachers to used the auditory intellectualy repetition learning was in the class according to the teaching material.
