Abstract

The influence of the cooperative learning model of the team quiz type on student achievement learning mathematics. This study aims to determine whether there in influence of the cooperative quiz tipe team learning model on junior high school students learning achievement. The sample in this study were class VIII students totaling 25 people. Data used in this study were data on the value of pretest and posttest type of cooperative learning experiment class the team quiz. Data obtained were analyzed using SSPS program version 22. Before testing hypotheses a prerequisite test was conducted,namely the normality test for pretest data and posttest data from the analysis results for pretest data.Asymp.sig.(2- tailed) =0,200> 0,05 = and DCOUNT = 0,138< 0,264 = tabel then H0 is accepted,thus it is concluded that the data are normally distributed while the posttest data is obtained asymp.sig.(2-tailed) =0,200> 0,05 = and DCOUNT = 0,139< 0,264 = tabel then H0 is accepted,thus it is concluded that the data are normally distributed. Hypothesis testing uses a paired simple test, after the data is analyzed, the value of sig. (2-tailed) Dtabel is the H0 rejected, so it is concluded that ther is a significant effect of team quiz type cooperative learning model on studend mathematics learning achievement. Therefore the outhors suggest that teachers use the cooperative learning model of the team quiz type on learning in the classroom according to the material to be taught.
