Abstract

Process skills approach is a learning approach that emphasizes the process of learning, activity and creativity of learners to construct knowledge, values and attitudes and their application in everyday life. Interest process skills approach is to develop a number of physical and mental abilities (basic skills) to a higher level on the learner. The main problem in this research is how the result of applying the skills approach the subject matter of simple air learners class VIII A SMPK Sta. Maria Assumpta Kupang Academic Year 2016/2017? In detail the problem in this research are: 1) How is the ability of teachers to manage learning by Skills Approach Application Process Subject Matter Simple Aircraft on Eighth Grade Students A Odd Semester SMPK Sta. Maria Assumpta Kupang Academic Year 2016/2017? 2) How completeness learning Indicator Approach to the Application Process Subject Matter Aircraft Skills in Students Simple Class VIII A Odd Semester SMPK Sta. Maria Assumpta Kupang Academic Year 2016/2017? 3) How mastery learning outcomes of students with Skills Approach Application Process Subject Matter Simple Aircraft on Eighth Grade Students A Odd Semester SMPK Sta. Maria Assumpta Kupang Academic Year 2016/2017? 4) How is the response of students to the learning process Skills Approach to the Application of Subject Matter Simple Aircraft on Eighth Grade Students A Odd Semester SMPK Sta. Maria Assumpta Kupang Academic Year 2016/2017? The purpose of this study is to describe the results of Skills Approach Application Process Subject Matter Simple Aircraft on Eighth Grade Students A Odd Semester SMPK Sta. Maria Assumpta Kupang in the academic year 2016/2017. In detail the purpose of this research is 1) Describe the teacher's ability to manage learning by Skills Approach Application Process Subject Matter Simple Aircraft on Eighth Grade Students A Odd Semester SMPK Sta. Maria Assumpta Kupang Academic Year 2016/2017. 2) Describe the completeness Indicator Approach Applying learning skills Aircraft Simple Process Subject Matter Students in Class VIII A Odd Semester SMPK Sta. Maria Assumpta Kupang Academic Year 2016/2017. 3) Describe the thoroughness of the study of students with Skills Approach Application Process Subject Matter Simple Aircraft on Eighth Grade Students A Odd Semester SMPK Sta. Maria Assumpta Kupang Academic Year 2016/2017. 4) Describe the response of students to the learning process Skills Approach to the Application of Subject Matter Simple Aircraft on Eighth Grade Students A Odd Semester SMPK Sta. Maria Assumpta Kupang Academic Year 2016/2017. This research is a descriptive study. Subjects in this study were students of class VIII A SMPK Sta. Maria Assumpta Kupang with a total of 25 students and teachers (researcher). Data collection techniques are observation, tests and questionnaires. The instrument used in this study is the observation sheet management process skills approach to learning, achievement test, the assessment sheet psychomotor and affective aspects, and questionnaire responses of learners. Data analysis technique of this research is descriptive analysis that includes the calculation of average scores, proportions and percentages. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis of research data shows that the application process is the optimal approach to Skills for the subject matter of a simple plane VIII class A SMPK Sta. Maria Assumpta Kupang with details as follows: 1) The ability of teachers in managing learning activities by applying the skills approach covering process: planning, implementation and evaluation of all good learning. 2) Learning Outcome Indicators (product, process, affective and psychomotor) overall complete. 3) The results of learners (product, process, affective and psychomotor) overall complete. 4) The response of students to the implementation of learning by applying skills approach the process is in the very good category.
