Abstract

Advances in information technology provide opportunities for educational institutions to adopt technology to increase learning efficiency. e-Learning is one such development and cannot be delivered without the use of technology. The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidence regarding actual usage of elearning use mediated by intention to use. The data in this study were 150 questionnaires distributed to Computer Science students at Widya Mandira Catholic University Kupang who had used celwira. Celwira is an e-Learning portal at Widya Mandira Catholic University Kupang. Perceived usefulness that is felt in the use of e-learning does not have an effect on actual usage. Perceived ease of use has a significant relationship to intention to use. The results of the indirect effect test show that perceived usefulness influences behavioral intention to use technology. Perceived ease of using technology is motivated by the level of individual confidence in the ability to use technology, which will encourage perceived usefulness and have implications for intentions to use technology to use e-learning.
