Abstract

Drinking water companies are one of the companies that produce water services to the community but in providing services for the community, there are many problems including dirty water and traffic jams. This research aims to determine the quality of public service in kupang city drinking water area companies and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors for meeting water needs for PDAM Kupang City customers. This study used descriptive skins, and purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. This result shows that the quality of service cannot be said to be good, this is due to the low catching power and empathy of PDAM officers in solving a problem in the field which should aim to increase the amount of water production so that all the needs of PDAM customers can be fulfilled every day. Supporting Factors to meet water needs for PDAM customers From the description above, it can be concluded that the awareness of PDAM Kupang City employees is quite high, because employees already understand and understand what they have to do in providing services to customers so that customers feel satisfied and the equipment at PDAM Kupang City is sufficient so that employees can more easily serve customers who come and Inhibiting Factors to meet the water needs of the PDAM kupang city residents in the concluded that the raw water capacity is lacking, causing the distribution to customers to be adjusted to existing capabilities and until now the Kupang City PDAM has a lot of shortage of pipes to replace old pipes and leaking pipes.
