Abstract

Unisono singing is singing with one voice. Catholic Youth of Holy Spirit Parish Halilulik generally sing not well executed, especially in terms of breath distribution that does not match the fragment or pronunciation of verses that are not orderly including unisono singing on the song Haec Dies. This song is one of the liturgical songs sung on Easter. Based on these problems, this study aims to find out the learning steps in unisono singing on the Haec Dies song and to do the correct interpretation of the verses and melodies in the Haec Dies song and find out the process in learning and singing techniques on the haec dies song through the drill method. This research is qualitative in nature. The method used is field action research. The data collection was done through observation, interview and documentation. From the research it can be concluded that in the process of learning the song Haec Dies, it is necessary to do breathing exercises, etude exercises, so that participants can understand well when performing the Haec Dies song even though it is not yet optimal. The results of this study can be concluded that the learning process in unisono singing on the song Haec Dies through the practice method at OMK Paroki Roh Kudus Halilulik went well. In the training process there are various difficulties, but these can be overcome by doing the exercises repeatedly.
