Abstract

The research entitled The Influence of Leadership, Work Environment and Organizational Culture on Lecturer Productivity in Publication of Scientific Papers at Widya Mandira Catholic University Kupang with Motivation as a Moderation Variable was written by Yohanes Baptista Windo Thalibana NIM 811211069 and supervised by Dr. Henny A. Manafe, SE, MM and Daniel Taolin, SE, M.Sc. The aims of this study is to : (1) Know the description of lecturers' perceptions about Productivity, Motivation, Leadership, Work Environment and Organizational Culture at Widya Mandira Catholic University Kupang, (2) Know the influence of Leadership, Work Environment and Organizational Culture variables with Motivation as a moderating variable on Productivity as the dependent variable. The sample in this study were 97 lecturers at Widya Mandira Catholic University, Kupang. This type of research is quantitative research, the type of data used is primary data and secondary data, the data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis show that the description of leadership, motivation and productivity is good while the description of the work environment and organizational culture is quite good. The results of inferential statistical analysis show that (1) leadership, environment, organizational culture and motivation have a positive and significant effect on the productivity of lecturers at Widya Mandira Catholic University Kupang in the publication of scientific papers, (2) motivation does not moderate the influence of leadership and organizational culture on lecturer productivity Widya Mandira Catholic University Kupang in publishing scientific papers (3) motivation moderates the influence of the work environment on the productivity of lecturers at Widya Mandira Kupang Catholic University in publishing scientific papers. The contribution of leadership, work environment, organizational culture and motivation to productivity is 94.7% while the rest is influenced by other variables not included in this study. It is suggested to the leadership of Widya Mandira Catholic University to maintain and if possible increase productivity by paying attention to leadership, work environment, work culture and motivation for lecturers in publishing scientific papers. Researchers who will conduct research at Widya Mandira Catholic University in Kupang may choose variables other than those taken by researchers for the advancement of Widya Mandira Catholic University Kupang.
