Fuel oil (BBM) is one of the basic needs for society in general so that BBM can affect the rate of inflation or increase in the price of goods. The increase in the price of fuel oil has sparked many pros and cons among the community, people have poured out interesting responses through social media, namely Twitter. Twitter is one of the most widely used social media in Indonesia, therefore the comments given via tweets are quite diverse. Sentiment analysis is carried out from the tweets taken to classify sentiments into positive sentiments, negative sentiments, and neutral sentiments. The method used by Naïve Bayes because it has a simple algorithm and high accuracy results. This research resulted in positive sentiments of 34%, negative sentiments of 24%, and neutral sentiments of 40% with an accuracy value of 84%. With high accuracy, it shows that Naïve Bayes is very effective in this research problem.
