Artificial Harmonic technique is a way to play strings to produce higher notes using finger touch techniques. Music education study program students do not know artificial harmonic techniques in guitar playing. The problem raised in this study is how the process of applying the Artificial Harmonic technique on an acoustic guitar with the Indonesia Pusaka song model. The purpose of this research is to find out the process of applying artificial harmonic techniques to acoustic guitar playing with the Indonesian Pusaka song model using the Drill method. This research is qualitative and the method used in this research is field action research. The process of obtaining data uses literature study and field study through observation and documentation. The learning process uses the Drill method. The results showed that, the implementation of the application of artificial harmonic techniques begins with providing an overview of artificial harmonic techniques and examples of playing these techniques, followed by practicing and playing the etude along with the Indonesian Pusaka song score. The final result of the learning process is that students can play the song Indonesia Pusaka using Artificial harmonic techniques. The benefits obtained are that students gain knowledge about artificial harmonic techniques in playing guitar. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the effort to apply artificial harmonic techniques to the song Indonesia Pusaka by Ismail Marzuki using the drill method is very effective in improving guitar playing skills, especially melodies in music education study program students in semester II and IV. This is evidenced by students being able to play song scores well, although not perfect.
