Abstract

The thesis entitled "The Effect of Orientation, for Additional Income and Organizational Commitment to theWork of SectorPolice in Sabu Raijua District" was written by Muslikhan A. Sara, NIM:811211038, supervised by Pater Dr. Cosmas Fernandez, SVD, MA and Jou Sewa Adrianus, SE. MM. The declining performance of Sector Policing Members in Sabu Raijua Regency is thought to be influenced by Motivation, Additional Income Allowance and Organizational Commitment. This study aims to find out: 1) Respondents' perception of the effect of Motivation, Additional Allowance and Organizational Commitment on the Performance of Sector Police Members in Sabu Raijua Regency; 2) The significance of the effect of Motivation, Additional Income Allowance and Organizational Commitment partially on the performance of Sector Police Members in Sabu Raijua Regency ; 3) The significance of the simultaneous effect of Motivation, Additional Income Allowance and Organizational Commitment on the performance of Sector Police Members in Sabu Raijua District. The population in this study was 64 members of the National Police serving in the Polsian Sector in Sabu Raijua Regency and the sample amounted to 64 members of the National Police. Data were collected using questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation studies and analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics t test and F test. The results of descriptive statistical analysis showed that respondents' perceptions for Motivation included the good category, Income Supplement Allowance included in the good category, Organizational Commitment with the Good Category and the performance of Sector Polician Members including category Good. The results of the t test show that Motivation, Income Addition Allowance and Organizational Commitment partially have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results of the F test showed that three independent variables simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results of the coefficient of determination showed that these three independent variables contributed 85.3% to the performance of Sector Police Members in Sabu Raijua Regency, while 14.7% was contributed by other variables that were not included in this study. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended to Members of the Sector Police in Sabu Raijua Regency to Increase Motivation by Hard Work, Future Orientation and High Ideals. In carrying out their duties and responsibilities, members of the Indonesian National Police further foster confidence and enthusiasm in improving performance so that it has an impact on good work results. Improve the ability and suitability to work in accordance with the Additional Allowance of Income obtained and Increase the Organizational Commitment of Police Members, especially in carrying out their duties so that membersfoster a sense of kinship, especially in feeling comfortable in Organization because these factors are proven to affect the high and low performance of employees.
