Abstract

This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive approach. This study aims to describe how the effect of the learning atmosphere on student achievement. The research instrument used to examine the effect of the learning atmosphere on student achievement is a questionnaire technique and questions. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP St. Yoseph Kupang academic year 2022?2023. The sampling technique in this study was one class taken at random using simple random sampling technique. The analysis used was descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using the SPS program. On the results of the data hypothesis test, it was found that there was an effect of the learning atmosphere on students' mathematics learning achievement. Based on simple regression analysis, it is known that F count = 0.151 with a significance level of 0.702 > 0.05. It can be said that there is a significant effect between the learning atmosphere and students' mathematics achievement. Class VIII B SMP St. Joseph Kupang.
