Abstract

The problem in this study is to find out how much smomeone’s leadership in leading is very influential and becomes a determining factor fotr increasing and decreasing employee performance, therefore it is clear that in eery company an effective leadership style is needed because in this case besides depending on the reliability and ability of employees to operate work units that are exits in an organization, effective leardership and the influence and role of the are needed because in reality the succes of an organization is determined by the leadership and leadership style that is developed in the organization to achieve the goals of the organization. This study departs from the formulation of the research problem, namely, is there any influence of leadership on employee performance at the watergates of the Belu Regency. This type of research is a type of quantitative research using survey research methods and data collection in this study using a questionnaire (questionnaire) in the from of the wrriten statements given to respomdents. The data obtained in this study were based distributed to 30 respondents who weew taken by random sampling. As for the data analysia in this study using the validity and reliability test using the help of SSPS version 18 is valid and reliable and the data is analyzed using simple regression analysis, and testing the coefficient of determination, with t test. From the result of the research data analysis it was concluded that there was an influence from the leadership applied by the leadership of the Belu Regency Watergate Kopdit on emplooyee performance, meaning that the hypothesis can be concluded that Ho is rejected an Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that leadership has a direct positive effect on the performance of employees at the Watergate Kopdit Belu Regency.
