Abstract

The scientific approach is a learning approach designed to make students more active in learning activities. In the scientific approach students are encouraged to be actively involved and learn to find concepts independently by observing, asking, trying, reasoning and communicating. The objectives of this study are (1). Knowing the Teacher's Ability to Manage Learning by Applying a Scientific Approach to the Reaction Rate Material for Class XI MIPA 1 SMAN Webriamata (2). Determine student learning outcomes by providing learning motivation with a scientific approach to the matter of the reaction rate of class XI MIA students at SMA Negeri Webriamata (3). To determine students' learning motivation with a scientific approach to the reaction rate of class XI MIA students at SMA Negeri Webriamata (4). Determine whether there is a relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes by applying a scientific approach to the material on the reaction rate of class XI MIA students at SMA Negeri Webriamata, (5). Determine whether there is an influence between learning motivation and learning outcomes by applying a scientific approach to the material on the reaction rate of class XI MIA students at SMA Negeri Webriamata. The collection techniques used were observations, questionnaires, and tests. Data were obtained from associative descriptive analysis. From the results of the analysis obtained (1) the teacher's ability to manage learning using a scientific approach is included in the good category with a score obtained 3.74, (2) student learning outcomes by providing motivation to learn with a scientific approach to the reaction rate material are included in the good category with the score obtained was 83 (3) students' learning motivation with a scientific approach to the reaction rate material was included in the good category with a score obtained 90% (4) there was a relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes by applying a scientific approach to the reaction rate material included in the good category with a score obtained of 0.66 (5) there is an influence between learning motivation on learning outcomes by applying a scientific approach to the reaction rate material included in the good category with a score obtained of 0.75
