Abstract

Thesis title: Effectiveness of using self-monitoring strategies in self-management techniques through group guidance services to increase student learning motivation. The problem studied in this thesis is whether the use of selfmonitoring strategies in self-management techniques through group guidance services can increase student learning motivation? The aim of the research is to determine the effectiveness of using self-monitoring strategies in selfmanagement techniques through group guidance services to increase student learning motivation. The research method used in this research is literature study. The objects of study are self-monitoring strategies, self-management techniques, group guidance services, and student learning motivation. The data sources used are secondary data sources and qualitative data types. The results of the discussion are as follows: the effectiveness of this research is increasing learning motivation through group guidance services using self-monitoring strategies in selfmanagement techniques. This is reinforced by the results of Suartie's research (2016), Aulia's research results (2020), and Siti, et al.'s research results (2020). Based on the results of this research, the researcher provides suggestions to: 1) It is hoped that guidance and counseling teachers can improve their skills in carrying out self-monitoring strategies in self-management techniques through group guidance services to increase student learning motivation. 2) researchers are expected to be able to increase knowledge and insight regarding the use of selfmonitoring strategies in self-management techniques to increase student learning motivation.
