Abstract
Thesis entitled "The Influence of Competency, Leadership, Organizational Culture Mediated by Job Satisfaction on the Performance of General Bureau Employees of the Regional Secretariat of East Nusa Tenggara Province" written by Maria Gradiana Bili, NIM: 811212003, supervised by Dr. Stanis Man, SE., M.Si and Drs.Ec. Gaudensius Djuang, MM. In 2021, the realization of the General Bureau's performance was 72.80% of the target of 100% or did not reach the target. The impact of not achieving performance in 2021 is a decrease in budget allocation in 2022. The aim of this research is to determine: 1) An overview of competency, leadership, organizational culture, job satisfaction and employee performance at the NTT Provincial Secretariat General Bureau, 2) The positive and significant influence of competency , leadership and organizational culture partially on employee job satisfaction at the NTT Provincial Secretariat General Bureau, 3) Partial positive and significant influence of competence, leadership, organizational culture and job satisfaction on employee performance at the NTT Provincial Secretariat General Bureau, 4) Positive and significant influence of competence , leadership and organizational culture are partially mediated by job satisfaction on employee performance at the General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of NTT Province. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The respondents in this research were all 106 General Bureau employees. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares). The research results are as follows: 1) Respondents' perceptions of employee performance, job satisfaction and competence are good, leadership and organizational culture are quite good, 2) Competence and organizational culture partially have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at the NTT Provincial Secretariat General Bureau, 3) Leadership has a positive but not significant effect on employee job satisfaction at the NTT Provincial Secretariat General Bureau, 4) Competency, organizational culture, leadership and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at the NTT Provincial Secretariat General Bureau, 5) Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on partially mediate competency and organizational culture on employee performance at the NTT Provincial Secretariat General Bureau, 6) Job satisfaction has a positive but not significant effect in mediating leadership on employee performance at the NTT Provincial Secretariat General Bureau. Based on the research results, it is recommended to the leadership of the General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of NTT Province to use a participative leadership style, carry out socialization and implementation of the agreed organizational culture, including norms and dominant values, namely ASN with AKHLAK and increase the competency of all employees through further studies and training.
