Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in mathematics learning achievement and the influence of the Team Assisted Individualization type of cooperative learning model on the subject of the two-variable linear equation system in class X PGRI Kupang High School students in the academic year 2019/2020. The sample in this study was 19th grade students of Natural Sciences at PGRI Kupang Private High School. The data used in this study are pretest and posttest value data from the experimental class with the Team Assisted Individualization type of cooperative learning model. Before testing the hypothesis, a prerequisite test is a normality test for the pretest and posttest data. The results of the pretest data analysis showed the Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.586> 0.05 and � ���� = 0.774 > 0.301 = ��� � , then H0 is accepted and concluded that the data is normally distributed. In the posttest data, Asymp values were obtained. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.401 > 0.05 and � ���� = 0.894> 0.301 = ��� � , then H0 is accepted, and it is concluded that the data are normally distributed. Hypothesis testing uses paired sample tests. The results of the analysis obtained Asymp values. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 <0.05 and � ���� = 7.979> 2.101 = ��� � , then H0 is rejected, so it is concluded that there is a very significant influence on the Team Assisted Individualization type of cooperative learning model on students' mathematics learning achievement. N-Gain analysis results, the pretest value = 0.2996 and the posttest value = 0, 5692 from these results, the average N-Gain value was obtained 0.4226 it was concluded that there was an increase in student learning achievement after the Team type coopertaive learning model was applied Assisted Individualization. The results of this study indicate that the Team Assisted Individualization type of cooperative learning model has an effect and there is an increase in mathematics learning achievement. Therefore, the authors offer teachers the Team Assisted individualization type of cooperative learning model as an alternative to be used in the learning process in accordance with the material to be taught.
