Abstract
Implementation of the learning carried out in the State Primary School 1 Amarasi South is still conventional and rarely uses learning models to be practiced in teaching learning activities. The aim of this study way to find out the implementation of learning and the influence of the learning model Think Pair Share on student mathematics learning achievement. This kind of research way experimental research. The research was carried out at the State Primary School 1 Amarasi South. The population in this study way the whole of the students of the eighth grade high school State 1 Amarasi South. The sample in this study is a student of grade VIII B High School State 1 Amarasi South of 30 students randomly selected from 2 classes with simple random sampling technique. The instruments in this study were the observation and test of student learning achievement of 25 subjects in the form of a double choice. Data analysis techniques in this study were observation results, indicator achievement and test-t. Based on the results of observation and indicator Achievement, obtained student learning performance belongs to good. Test-t shows t_count=61,176 and t_table=2,045 at a significance level of 5%, which means T_count>t_table, then H_0 is rejected and H_a received. So it was concluded that there was a significant influence on the learning model of Think Pair Share on the mathematical learning achievement of eighth grade students.
