Abstract

Nekamese Tourism is a tourist destination with unique natural beauty. Located in Oemasi Village, Nekamese District, Kupang Regency, the tourist location is quite easily accessible from the center of Kupang City, making it an attraction for both local and out-of-town tourists. However, information about this destination is still limited, and the ticket reservation system is still done manually, making it difficult for prospective visitors to plan their trips. Therefore, this study aims to design and build a web-based reservation system that can help tourists obtain information and make ticket reservations online. The development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This system was developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results of the study indicate that the system can improve management efficiency and make it easier for tourists to obtain information and make ticket reservations online. Thus, this system is expected to support the management of Nekamese Tourism and improve the quality of service to tourists.
