Abstract

The main problem in this researchis the implementation of learning and its effect on students mathematics learning achievement by using the cooperative learning model type team assisted individualization. This researchaims to describethe implementation of learningmodels, achievement of student mathematics learning and to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model type team assisted individualization on students mathematics learning achievement on the subject of the pythagorean theorem academic year 2019/2020.The type of researchused is quantitative research with experimental methods. Data analysis techniques used are descriptivequalitativeanalysis and quantitative analysisusing the help of the SPSS 22 program. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 3KupangTengah Satu Atapwith a population of VII grade as many as 2. Sample classes of this study were VII Aclasses totaling 25people who are randomly selected from the populationwith simple random sampling. Instrument in this research namely observationto teacher and studentsand learning achievement texts in the form of multiple choice as many as 25item.Based on the results of observations of the impelementation of learning classified as very goodand achievement indicators obtained student achievement is classified as good. The T-test results showed that the tcount = 14,048> ttable = 1,710with a significance level of 5% which means that H0was rejected and Hawas accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the cooperative learning model type team assisted individualizationon mathematics learning achievement in junior high school students.
