Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe the type of learning model in jigsaw mathematics learning in junior high. Jigsaw type cooperative learning model is a cooperative learning model where students learn in small groups consisting of 4-6 heterogeneous people and cooperate with each other, positive interdependence and are responsible for completing parts of the learning material that must be learned and deliver the material to group members the other. The formation of the team is based on students' academic abilities in the classroom. This is supported by the existence of Jigsaw type cooperative learning steps in mathematics learning where students must work together and be responsible for each other and think quickly in accepting lessons.
