Abstract

This research aims to determine whether or not there is an effect of emotional intelligence and interest in learning on student achievement for class grade VIII in the junior high school. It is happened in the academic year 2021/2022. The type of research used by researchers is quantitative. The sampling technique in this research was using simple random sampling technique. Data processing was carried out using the statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) program. The results showed that there was an effect of emotional intelligence and interest in learning simultaneously on learning achievement. Based on the results of the SPSS output obtained 0.001 < 0.05 and the value of Fcount 11,815 >Ftable 3.555. So, that Ha wasaccepted
