Abstract

Education is a planned reform effort to improve the quality of education. One of these efforts is the application of school rules in order to influence the discipline, attitudes, motivation and achievementof student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Kupang.The research method was quantitative with data collection techniques carried out through were of instruments and documentation. The population in the study amounted to 2,352 people, while the research sample amounted to 96 people were determined by the Stratisfied Random Sampling technique. Hypothesis analisis was done by simple linear regression analysis (significance 0.05). The research objective was to (1) prove the effect of school rules on the discipline of students in SMK Negeri 1 Kupang. (2) prove the effect of school rules on the attitudes of students in SMK Negeri 1 Kupang; (3) prove the effect of school rules on the motivation of students at SMA Negeri 1 Kupang. And (4) prove the influence of School Rules on the achievement of student learning outcomes of SMK Negeri 1 Kupang. The results of the study prove that (1) After testing the hypothesis using the F test, the results obtained are Fcount of 151,587 and after consultation with the value of Ftable, where the value of Ftable is 1.45, it can be concluded that Fcount>Ftable, that is, there is a significant effect between school rules (X) and discipline (Y1) at SMK Negeri 1 Kupang; (2) Hypothesis testing using the F test, obtained the Fcount of 69,992 and after being consulted with the Ftable value, where the Ftable value is 1.45, it can be concluded that Fcount> Ftable, that is,there is a significant influence between school rules (X) on attitudes (Y2) at SMK Negeri 1 Kupang; (3) Hypothesis testing using the F test, obtained the Fcount of 1.163 and after being consulted with the Ftable value, where the Ftable value is 1.45, it can be concluded that Fcount> Ftable, that is, there is a significant influence between school rules (X) on motivation (Y3) at SMK Negeri 1 Kupang; and (4) Hypothesis testing using the F test, obtained the Fcount of 1.023 and after being consulted with the Ftable value, where the Ftable value is 1.45, it can be concluded that Fcount <Ftable, meaning that there is no significant influence between school rules (X ) on motivation (Y4) at SMK Negeri 1 Kupang.
