Abstract
Thesis entitled “The Influence of Workload, Supervision and Training on Job Satisfaction of Employees of PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Kupang Branch" written by Ratna Dwi Octaviani NIM 8112182032 MM, supervised by P. Dr. Philipus Tule, SVD and Daniel Taolin, SE., M.Sc. Based on the preliminary data, the researcher found that there was a phenomenon in the job satisfaction factor of PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Kupang Branch. In addition, there is also a phenomenon in the workload factor, supervision and training for employees of PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Kupang Branch. The purpose of this study is to find out: 1) What is the description of job satisfaction, workload, supervision and training at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Kupang branch? 2) Does the workload have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Kupang branch? 3) Does supervision have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Kupang branch? 4) Does training have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Kupang Branch?. The objectives to be achieved in this study are to determine: 1) description of job satisfaction, workload, supervision and training at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Kupang Branch. 2) the significant effect of workload on employee job satisfaction at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Kupang Branch. 3) the significant and positive influence of supervision on employee job satisfaction at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Kupang Branch. 4) the significant and positive effect of training on employee job satisfaction at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Kupang Branch. This study uses quantitative methods. The sample of this research is employees of PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Kupang branch, totaling 77 people. Data collection techniques through questionnaires, document studies, interviews and observations. Data analysis techniques are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis using the SmartPLS application. The results of descriptive statistical analysis show that the achievement of the variables of job satisfaction, workload and supervision are in the fairly good category; while the training variable is in the good category. The results of the path analysis show that 1) The workload variable has a significant effect on the job satisfaction variable. 2) Supervision variables have a significant effect on job satisfaction variables. 3) The training variable has a significant effect on the job satisfaction variable. The result of the coefficient of determination (R2) states that the contribution of the workload, supervision and training variables to the variable job satisfaction of employees at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Kupang branch is 64.2%. The conclusion is: workload, supervision and training have a significant effect on job satisfaction. Suggestions from researchers are: evaluate the distribution of workload, so that it is in accordance with the working hours and main duties of employees. This can be done by conducting a workload analysis so that the distribution of the workload is in accordance with the number of employees; and improve the applied training system.
