Abstract

The learning achievements of students can be achieved by having a good learning motivation. The motivation of learning is the driving power of the individual to conduct learning activities to increase knowledge and skills as well as experience. The purpose of this research was conducted to find out the efect of learning motivation toward accomplishment studied mathematics subject sub integers equations two variables on a grade VII from SMP 5 city of Kupang academic year 2016/2017. This type of research is quantitative research and statistical analysis used, namely the simple regression analysis in SPSS16.0 for windows. Data collection techniques using question form, learning achievement tests. Simple regresion analysis results the variables X and Y are obtained the value of thitung = 5.988 > ttabel = 1.734, then reject Ho, meaning that there is a significant effect of learning motivation achievement studied mathematic subject sub integers equations two variables on grade VII from SMP 5 city of Kupang academic year 2016/2017. Based on the result of the research are recommended for teacher and the sckool in order to give greater attion and motivation of learning so that students more active in the learning process.
