Abstract

The mainproblem in this research is how the Application of Methods Jarimatika the principle language of deaf students multiplication and division in the class IX SMALB Negeri Nunumeu Soe in Academic Year 2015/2016. The purpose of study was to analize the implementationof the method jarimatika of deaf students the principle language of deaf students multiplication and division in the class IX SMALB Negeri Nunumeu Soe in academic year 2015/2016. The types of research is a descriptive study with data collection techniques are tests, interview, observation, dan documentation. This research subject is deaf students SMALB Negeri Nunumeu Soe class IX totaling 2 students. Based on the analysis of interview, observation, and tests the researchers concluded that: jarimatika method implementation can improve math calculation skills deaf students in the principal language of multiplication and division. Seen from the end of the test both the Deaf students where they can resolve the problem that is given appropriately and properly in accordance with method jarimatika are in teaching and learning to meet the four indicators. Deaf students showed positive responses to learning because learning is considered fun, easy, and faster inresolve questions multiplication and division. Deaf student interest is also increasing because students are not dificult in resolve the questions of that largenumbers to be resolved. Based on the results of this study in the hope the teacher can observe teaching methods in use so as to facilitate the students for more quickly understand and complite the task especially for deaf students.
