Abstract
This study aims to describe the mathematical creative thinking ability of junior high school students in circle material. The subjects of this study were 2 students who had high abilities. The selection of subjects is based on the results of UTS scores and based on the results of discussions between researchers and teachers of mathematics subjects. Data collection is carried out through a written test in the form of a circle material description question which amounts to 2 question numbers and interview results. . Data analysis uses three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The indicators of creative thinking ability used in this study are fluency, flexibility, and novelty. The results showed that RFDG subjects met all indicators of creative thinking ability, namely fluency, flexibility, and novelty. HDT subjects are only able to meet two indicators of creative thinking ability, namely fluency and novelty.
