Abstract

The title of this study is An Effort To Improve The Skills Of Students Of Dance Interest SMAK Sint. Carolus Penfui Kupang In Practice Dheli Dhozo Dance Creations Through Drill Method. Things background the importance of this paper is the research efforts for the creation of dance dheli dhozo and enhance student’s skills in mastering the motion of dance interest dheli dhozo dance creations. This research is a field of action. The problem in this research is how the efforts of teacher improve skills of the students interest in dance SMAK SINT. Carolus Penfui Kupang in practice dheli dhozo dance creations. The purpose of this study is to description efforts to improve the skills of dance dheli dhozo dance creations on student interest SMAK Sint.Carolus Penfui Kupang. This type of research is qualitative research. Data collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative The results showed under the efforts of teacher to improve the skills of students interest dance SMAK Sint. Carolus Penfui Kupang in practicing the dance dheli dhozo creations through drill method, with exercises performed repeatedly. In this process the students trained by using the count, beats and music so that students can practice dance creations dheli dhozo correctly.
