Abstract
A mixed ensemble is a musical dish that uses several musical instruments, including melodic, harmonious, and rhythmic instruments that are played simultaneously to produce an integrated and pleasant-to-hear musical presentation. At SMA Negeri 1 Golewa Selatan, ensemble music is also taught in the classroom, but more on theoretical knowledge. This is not in line with the expected competence in learning ensemble music, namely that students are able to play ensemble music well. Based on the description above, the formulation of the problem is, how to introduce a mixed ensemble game for class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Golewa Selatan music interest, and this study aims to introduce a mixed ensemble game to class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Golewa Selatan music interest with the model song Autumn Bunga using imitation and dril methods. The results showed that efforts to introduce mixed ensemble games to class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Golewa Selatan music interest with the model song Autumn Flowers using the imitation and dril methods were carried out with the following stages: the initial stage, recruitment of members of the musical interest and determining the training schedule. Next the core stage explains the basic material of the mixed ensemble, provides etude training, Practice playing the mixed ensemble on the flower fall model song. The final stage, staging as well as video shooting. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the students of class X of musical interest can play a mixed ensemble through the process of Practice, so that students can play the song of the Flower Fall model. Although there are various difficulties, this can be overcome by using imitation and drill methods.
