Abstract

Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) Method is one of the cooperative learning which emphasize on the activity and intereation among learning to each other motivation and help each other in mastering the learning in order achieve maximum The general problem of this study is how the result of the application of STAD cooperative method main material elastisicity material to the even semesteral eleventh grade students of science at SMAN 7 Kupang in academic year 2015/2016?. The specific problems of this study are: 1) how the teacher’ ability in managing teaching learning activity with the application of STAD cooperative method? 2) how the students’ skillfulness in following the teaching learning activity with the aplication of STAD cooperative method? 3) how the students’ result of learning indicator with the application of STAD cooperative method? 4) how the students’ result of learning test after teach them with the application of STAD cooperative method? 5) how the students’ respons to the teaching learning activity with the application of STAD cooperative method? The general goal of this study is to describing the result of the application of STAD cooperative method main material elastisicity material to the even semesteral eleventh grade students of science at SMAN 7 Kupang in academic year 2015/2016?. The specific goals of this study are: 1) to describing the teacher’ ability in managing teaching learning activity with the application of STAD cooperative method 2) to describing the students’ skillfulness in following the teaching learning activity with the application of STAD cooperative method 3) to describing the students’ result of learning indicator with the application of STAD cooperative method 4) to describing the students’ result of learning test after teach them with the application of STAD cooperative method 5) to describing the students’ respons to the teaching learning activity with the application of STAD cooperative method. The method used in this study was descriptive method. The Subjects of this study were teacher(researcher), and students of even semesteral eleventh grade students of science at SMAN 7 Kupang in academic year 2015/2016 with the amount 31 students. Technique of gethering the data is observation, test, quistionare of students responses. Where as the instrument of this study is page of monitoring the managing teaching learning activity, page of monitoring the cooperative skillness, result of learning test (product, afective, phsychomotoric), and page of students’ responses. Technique of analyzing the data is descriptive quantitative which consist of average calculation, proportion, and presentase. The result of this study shows that generally the application of STAD cooperative method is good to the main material elastisicity material to the even semesteral eleventh grade students of science at SMAN 7 Kupang in academic year 2015/2016 with the amount 31 students. The specific results are formulated as follows: 1) The teacher’ ability in managing teaching learning activity with the application of STAD cooperative method which consist of: device lesson plan, evaluation lesson plan, lesson activity is included as good category. 2) The students’ skillfulness cooperative which consist of participating in the activity, take innings and sharing rules, motivating the participation, active learning, answer or giving question, each of them is above the average. 3) Mostly the students’ result of learning indicator are pass 4) The students’ result of learning test after teach them with the application of STAD cooperative method generally pass in the test 5) The students’ respons to the teaching learning activity with the application of STAD cooperative method consist of five aspects, as follows: introduction activity, main activity, closure, time managing, classroom atmosphere with all aspects are included as very good category.
