Abstract

Education is a conscious and systematic effort, carried out by people who are entrusted with the responsibility to influence students to have the nature and character in accordance with the ideals of education. To achieve educational goals, it is necessary to have innovative and creative learning media, one of the learning media that supports learning is LKPD. LKPD developed in this research is LKPD based on discovery learning on the material factors that affect the rate of reaction. The objectives of this study are (1) to determine the validity of the student worksheets (LKPD) based on discovery learning on the material factors that affect the rate of reaction. (2) Knowing the students' responses to the student worksheets (LKPD) based on discovery learning on the material factors that affect the rate of reaction. The sample in this study was all 21 students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Semau for the 2021/2022 academic year. The type of research used is research development or Research and Development (R & D) according to Sugiyono. The research instruments used were validation sheets and student response questionnaire sheets. The data analysis technique used is validity analysis and student response analysis. From the results of data analysis, it was found that (1) The validity of the Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on discovery learning on the material factors that affect the reaction rate is classified in the very valid category with the average percentage obtained from the material expert validator namely validator I of 93,33% and validator II 95,55% while the average percentage obtained from media expert validators namely validator I is 96,66% and validator II is 93,33%. (2) The response of students to the Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on discovery learning on the material factors that affect the reaction rate is in the very good category with an average percentage of 95,47%.
