Abstract
This study aims to determine: the existence of a significant effect of social interaction on learning achievement mathematics sub subject of systems of linear equations in two variables class X SMA Swasta Beringin Kupang 2014/2015 academic year, there is significant learning attitude toward mathematics achievement sub subject of systems of linear equations in two variables class X SMA Private Beringin Kupang 2014/2015 school year, as well as the significant influence of social interaction and learning attitude toward mathematics achievement sub subject of systems of linear equations in two variables class X SMA private Beringin Kupang 2014/2015 school year. This type of research is a quantitative study with statistical analysis techniques used are simple regression analysis and multiple regression. The population in this study were all class X SMA Private Beringin Kupang with research samples are saturated sample, where the entire population is sampled. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires and mathematics achievement tests that have been tested for validity and reliability. Before performing the statistical analysis, classical assumptions held prior testing which includes tests of normality, linearity and multicollinearity. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 16.0 for windows and manual analysis as a comparison. The results showed that: (1) there was a significant effect of social interaction on learning achievement mathematics sub subject of systems of linear equations in two variables class X SMA Private Beringin Kupang academic year 2014/2015. This was evidenced by the value of t = 2.61 ≥ table = 1.697, reject H0; (2) there was a significant effect of learning attitudes toward mathematics achievement sub subject of systems of linear equations in two variables class X SMA Private Beringin Kupang academic year 2014/2015. This was evidenced by the value of t = 2.564 ≥ table = 1.697, reject H0; (3) there was a significant effect of social interaction and learning attitude toward mathematics achievement sub subject of systems of linear equations in two variables class X SMA Private Beringin Kupang academic year 2014/2015. This was evidenced by the value of F = 7.338 ≥ Ftable = 3316, then reject H0. Based on the research results, the researchers concluded that: there is a significant effect of social interaction on learning achievement mathematics sub subject of systems of linear equations in two variables class X SMA Private Kupang 2014/2015 school year; no significant influence on the attitude towards learning mathematics achievement exponent sub subject in class X SMA Private Beringin Kupang 2014/2015 school year; No significant effect of social interaction and learning attitude toward mathematics achievement sub subject of systems of linear equations in two variables class X SMA Private Beringin Kupang academic year 2014/2015. The author's suggestion for the school and the math teacher, so need to establish communication between students and their environment in order to interact properly biased to foster student learning fun attitude in the classroom. As for students, in order to interact with fellow friends in school well and can be good in math learning in the classroom.
