Abstract

The problem in this study is how the development of GDP, minimum wages and employment in the MSME sector in East Flores District 2014-2017? This study aims to look at the development of GDP, minimum wages and employment in the MSME sector in East Flores Regency. The data used is secondary data. The analysis used in this data is SPSS. This is done to see the mean, median, mode, deviation, standard variance, minimum, maximum and so on. The results of the data analysis showed that there was a positive relationship of 0.97% and a significant 0.03% between the value of the SME GRDP with the value of the Minimum Wage in East Flores District in 2014-2017 without any amount of Labor Absorption. After entering the number of Labor Absorption as a control variable in this analysis it appears that there is a positive relationship of 0.91% and significant 0.39% is accepted which means that the relationship between SME GRDP, Minimum Wage and Labor Absorption in East Flores Regency SME sector or in other words the higher the level of Employment Absorption, the Minimum Wage will increase, the increase in Employment Absorption and Minimum Wages will encourage the increase of SME GRDP, the increase in SME GRDP illustrates that the SME sector in East Flores Regency has increased, but need to know the value of the SME GRDP is not the only one that determines the minimum wage value for workers, because there are other factors that are also related to the minimum wage value, namely the amount of labor absorption. In accordance with the results of the study, it is recommended that the East Flores Regency government should strive to increase the number of Labor Absorption by increasing the value of GRDP and Minimum Wages. This is to keep employment in the MSME sector in East Flores Regency stable.
