Abstract
Research entitled "Analysis of the Influence of Leadership and Work Environment on Work Discipline of Employees of the Office of Energy and Mineral Resources of East Nusa Tenggara Province with Motivation as an Intervening Variable" by Nicodemus Ola Klobor Registration Number 811211040, under the guidance of Dr. Stanis Man, SE, M.Si and Jou Sewa Adrianus, SE, MM The purpose of this study was to find out the description of the discipline, motivation, leadership, and work environment at the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of East Nusa Tenggara Province. The sample in this study amounted to 67 respondents, the type of research is quantitative research, the type of data used is primary and secondary data, the data analysis technique is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. This research is a quantitative research. The population in this study were all employees of the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of East Nusa Tenggara Province with a total of 67 people. In this study the sampling technique was carried out by means of a census of all employees at the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of East Nusa Tenggara Province. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis show that the description of Work Discipline, Work Motivation, Leadership and Work Environment at the ESDM Office of NTT Province is in the good category. The results of inferential statistical tests show that leadership and work environment have a significant effect on employee motivation; Work motivation, leadership and work environment have a significant effect on employee work discipline; Work motivation mediates the effect of leadership on work discipline significantly;Work motivation mediates influencework environment on work discipline significantly. The ability of work motivation, leadership and work environment on work discipline is 90.7% and the rest is explained by other factors not examined in this study. Leadership ability and work environment on work motivation by 66.9% and the rest is explained by other factors not examined in this study. Based on the research results obtained, it is suggested to the management of the EMR Office of the Province of NTT to improve work discipline by paying attentionwork motivation, leadership and work environment.For other researchers who will examine work discipline at the ESDM Prov. NTT, it is suggested to include other variables.
