Abstract
Abstract. Research on mineral analysis in the meat of mussels from Wunopito Lewoleba Lembata Beach has been carried out, with the aim of knowing the types of minerals and their levels. This research was conducted using themethod X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF). The results of this study obtained the minerals contained in the sample. namely Phosphorus (P) 11%, Sulfur (S) 1%, Potassium (K) 11.7%, Calcium (Ca) 39.2%, Chromium (Cr) 0.62%, Iron (Fe) 8.92% , Nickel (Ni) 0.4%, Copper (Cu) 0.49%, zinc (Zn) 2.4%, Bromium (Br) 1.4%, Molybdenum (Mo) 22%, Iterbium (Yb) 0, 3% and Rhenium (Re) 0.5%. It appears that there is a heavy metal chromium which has a content of 0.062%, and exceeds the threshold, namely 0.0080%
