Abstract

Administrative services in East Penfui Village have utilized a computerized system to type letters when there are residents who need them, but this is not effective because residents have to come directly to the Village Office bringing all the requirements as needed. Sometimes due to the lack of clear information obtained regarding the requirements for making a village cover letter, residents have to return home to complete the lacking requirements. In addition, the data storage is still in the form of files so that it slows down accessing the data. Therefore we need a system that can serve population administration requests online or in person so that the public can be served anytime and anywhere, and the system can store documents that have been processed and then displayed in the form of printed reports. This research method uses the Waterfall model process or what is often called a linear sequential model and the programming language used to build applications is PHP and MySQL as the database. With this system, various problems in population administration services such as making cover letters for RT and village introductions (business certificates, death certificates, birth certificates, incapacity certificates, moving certificates, domicile certificates, and good behavior certificates) ) in East Penfui Village can be done anywhere and everything online. In the system, residents can submit an RT cover letter online without having to meet in person or face to face with the RT head. After that residents can monitor in real-time the progress of making letters that have been submitted and residents will receive a notification stating that the letter has been printed and is ready to be picked up at the Village office. Residents will also receive a notification if the letter submitted is rejected by the RT or Village Head. In addition, the system also displays population data graphs, village news, village profiles, and village activity galleries.
