Abstract

The Computer Science Study Program is one of the study programs at the Faculty of Engineering, Widya Mandira Catholic University. The Computer Science Study Program stipulates that each student has a Final Assignment (TA) or Thesis as the final requirement for obtaining a bachelor's degree (1). With regard to writing TA, a student is of course guided by a lecturer, who is called a supervisor. So far, the determination of TA supervisors in the Computer Science Study Program is carried out by the Head of the Study Program. The determination uses a simple application (Microsft Office). Along with the advancement of information systems, the determination of TA supervisors can be determined by a decision support system. The method used in this study is the Profile Matching method. This application was built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results of this study were that the profile matching method was successful in determining who was worthy of being the first supervisor on behalf became supervisor 2
