Abstract

Adzedora Maria Lopes Da Cruz, Registration Number 8112201003MM, with the thesis title "Analysis of Factors Affecting the Value of Property and Real Estate Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange", supervised by Dr. Stanis Man, SE, M.Si, and Rere Paulina Bibiana, SE, M.Si. Property and real estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange experienced a decline in net income and company stock prices from 2019 to 2021. This study aims to determine the effect of capital structure, liquidity, and company size on firm value with profitability as an intervening variable. The research sample was determined using a purposive sampling method of 57 company financial statements. The type of data used in this research is quantitative data and secondary data. The technique of collecting data in this research is documentation and data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis with the Partial Least Square method which is processed with the SmartPLS software program. The results of the study show that capital structure has a positive and significant effect on firm value. Liquidity has a negative and insignificant effect on firm value. Firm size has a negative and significant effect on firm value. Capital structure has a negative and significant effect on profitability. Liquidity has a negative and significant effect on profitability. Firm size has a positive and significant effect on profitability. Profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value. Profitability has a negative and significant effect in mediating the effect of capital structure on firm value. Profitability has a negative and significant effect in mediating the effect of liquidity on firm value. Profitability has a positive and significant effect in mediating the effect of firm size on firm value. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended for property and real estate companies to optimizing the capital, pay attention to the amount of inventory, increase sales and its profitability.
