Abstract

This thesis is entitled Approaches Planning In the Development of the Mengeruda Hot Spring Tourism Object by the Tourism Office of Ngada Regency. The formulation of the problem in writing this thesis is how to approach the development planning of the Mengeruda Hot Spring Tourism Object by the Tourism Office of Ngada Regency. The theory used by researchers in solving research problems is Tourism Development. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Primary data sources are informants while secondary data are documents related to research variables. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis stage was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing stage and then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The research results show that (1). Community participation in the Planning for the Development of the Mengeruda Hot Spring Tourism Object in the form of reforestation and planting of trembesi, tabebuia and Angsana plants around the Mengeruda Soa Hot Spring Tourism Object. (2) The government's participation in improving the management of the Mengeruda Soa Hot Spring Tourism Object is in the form of installing signs or signs pointing to tourist sites and tourism supporting services such as good road infrastructure, availability of drinking water, electricity and telecommunications networks. Provision of accommodation for places to stay in collaboration with hotel, motel and lodging businesses which can be accessed via Traveloka and Tokopedia. Introducing the tourist information center and travel agency to the Mengeruda Hot Spring Tourism object, the Mengeruda Hot Spring Tourism Object to foreign and domestic tourists through Visit Ngada.com, Instagram and Facebook of the Ngada Regency Tourism Office, and tourism exhibitions. Based on the results of the analysis above, the authors conclude that the Planning for the Development of the Mengeruda Hot Spring Tourism Object has gone well where there is community and government participation. This can be seen in the existence of reforestation, directions to tourist sites and tourism support services, accommodation for accommodation and the provision of tourist information centers and travel agents.
