Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of learning models Student Facilitator and Explaining on student learning achievement in algebra form material. This type of research is experimental research with a research designone group pretest-postest. The population in this study were all class VII students. The sample in this research was 28 class VII D students. The data collection technique uses a preliminary test(pretest) and final test (posttest). The data analysis technique used is Parametric Statistical Data Analysis using the paired t test (paired-sample test). The results of the analysis with the help of SPSS 25 show thatsig. (2-tailed)= 0.000 while tcount = -27,248 for Ttable obtained df=n-1 , obtained df=27with a significant α/2=0,025 then the value is obtained ttable =2,052 this shows that sig.(2-tailed)= 0,000 < 0,05 and tcount= -27,248 < 2,052 =ttable or t_hitung= 27,248>2,052=t_(tabel ) Whereas for μ_1=83,04 and μ_2=42,14 so that μ_1≠μ_2. So it is proven that H0 rejected and Ha accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the learning model Student Facilitator and Explaining on the mathematics learning achievement of students at SMP Negeri 2 Kupang.
