Abstract

This research was written by Maria Yasinta Nuliw Watun (31116138), Economic Development Study Program Advisor I Br. Salomon Leki SE., M.Ec. Dev and mentor II, Ms. Enike Tje Yustin Dima, SE., ME with the title `` Analysis of the Influence of Unemployment Rate and Regional Minimum Wages on Poverty in East Nusa Tenggara Province. '' The purpose of this study was (1) the effect of Unemployment Rate and Regional Minimum Wage Partially on Poverty in East Nusa Tenggara Province. (2) To analyze the effect of Unemployment Rate and Regional Minimum Wage simultaneously on poverty in East Nusa Tenggara Province. This study uses quantitative data, namely data obtained in the form of numbers. Sources of data used in this study are secondary data, namely research data sources obtained by researchers indirectly through intermediary media or obtained or recorded by other parties. This research is then processed using SPSS 20 which is analyzed by data analysis techniques, namely 1) referential statistics consisting of multiple linear regression analysis. 2) Classical Assumption Test which consists of Normality Test, Multicollinearity Test, Heteroscedasticity Test and Autocorrelation Test. 3) Hypothesis test consisting of t test, F test and coefficient of determination (R2). The results of this study indicate that Unemployment Rate and Regional Minimum Wages simultaneously affect poverty in East Nusa Tenggara Province, a 95% confidence level is accepted. Partially Unemployment Rate and Regional Minimum Wage have a positive effect on poverty in NTT Province. With the results of Determination of the Coefficient (R2) of 0.133% or 13,3% of the dependent variable Unemployment Rate and Regional Minimum Wages, while 98,67% is explained by the variables included in this model The adjusted value (R2) shows a relationship strong between the dependent and independent variables that influence it. Judging from the results of this analysis, it is recommended that the Provincial Government of East Nusa Tenggara further improve human resources (HR) so that they can pay close attention to the operational standards set by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), so that they can be carried out properly and effectively.
