Abstract
Atambua is a city in Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) province. This city borders directly on the State of Timor Leste, where the border is a direct border that brings together the two countries, namely Indonesia and Timor Leste. This research focuses on how the Redesign of the Lolowa Atambua traditional market deserves to be accepted. The methods used are qualitative and quantitative methods. Qualitative methods are used to understand existing market conditions, the needs of traders and buyers and local cultural values. Quantitative methods are used to analyze data about visitor trade activity patterns and market economic potential. The research objective achieved is to realize planning concepts and architectural redesign in order to renew traditional markets with a transformation concept by prioritizing comfort for all groups, including sellers, buyers and supplier of the objects inside.
