Abstract
Research with the title "Analysis of Leading Sectors, Static and Dynamic Approaches in Supporting Economic Growth in Sikka Regency".Under the guidance of Supervisor I, Mrs. Dr. M.E. Persevernada, SE, M. Si and Supervisor II, Mr. Adrianus Ketmoen, SE, MM with the research title "Analysis of Leading Sectors, Static and Dynamic Approaches in Supporting Economic Growth in Sikka Regency The aim of this research is to find out: (1) The leading sectors of static and dynamic approaches in supporting economic growth in Sikka Regency from 2019-2023. (2) Sectors that have specialization advantages in Sikka Regency from 2019-2023. (3) Sectors that have competitive advantages in Sikka Regency from 2019-2023. (4) Sectors that have a significant contribution in supporting economic growth in Sikka Regency based on the Static and Dynamic Approach from 2019-2023. This research uses secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of Sikka Regency and East Nusa Tenggara Province in 2019-2023. For the data analysis process, LQ (Location Quotient) analysis is used which is divided into 2 approaches, namely static or SLQ (Static Location Quotient), and dynamic approach DLQ (Dynamic Location Quotient), Shift Share analysis, and Klassen Typology analysis. In this research the data is processed using Microsoft Excel tools The results of this research show that in Sikka Regency in 2019-2023 there are 9 leading sectors with a static approach and 9 leading sectors with a dynamic approach, namely: Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector, Mining and Quarrying Sector, Processing Industry Sector, Electricity and Gas Procurement Sector, Procurement Sector Water, Waste Management, Waste and Recycling, Transportation and Warehousing Sector, Food and Drink Accommodation Provision Sector, Education Services Sector, Corporate Services Sector, Real Estate Sector, Government Administration Sector, Defense and Mandatory Social Security, and Other Services. Based on the shift share analysis, there are 7 sectors that have specialization advantages and 8 sectors that have competitive advantages in Sikka Regency in 2019- 2023, namely: Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector, Mining and Quarrying Sector. Processing Industry Sector, Electricity and Gas Procurement Sector, Water Procurement Sector, Waste Management, Waste and Recycling, Wholesale Trade Sector, Car and Motorcycle Repair, Information and Communication Sector, Financial Services and Insurance Sector, Real Estate Sector, Corporate Services Sector , Government Administration Sector, Defense and Mandatory Social Security, and Other Services, Health Services and Social Activities Sector, and Other Services Sector. Based on the Klassen Typology Analysis, there are 5 sectors that are leading sectors with the classification SLQ>1 and DLQ>1 which have a significant contribution in supporting economic growth in Sikka Regency from 2019-2-2023, namely: Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector, Mining Sector and Quarrying, Processing Industry Sector, Electricity and Gas Sector, and Education Services Sector Keywords: Leading Sector, Location Quotient, Shift Share, Klassen Typology and Economic Growth
