Abstract

Abstract: Research has been conducted on hair nourishing formulas from a mixture of natural ingredients. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the hair nourishing formula from a combination of coconut oil, hazelnut oil, bowl leaves, hibiscus, waru and banyan hanging root on hair growth. The volume of coconut oil and hazelnut oil is made constant namely; 90:10 (V/V) while other materials are varied (W/B). This study uses rabbits as test animals and observations are carried out every 3 days until the 15th day. The results showed that the resulting hair oil had an effect on the growth of rabbit hair and the longest growth was in the use of F5 hair oil where the number of hanging roots was more than other plants. The length of the hair produced in 15 days is about 2,325 cm.
