Abstract

Bibiliku percussion ensemble playing is a form of musical performance, where a group of players play Bibiliku percussion instruments together. The main problem in this research is how the learning process develops Tehedek, Badaentute rhythms such as the rhythms in the Likurai dance for students in the second and fourth semesters of the Unwira Music Education study program. The purpose of this research is to determine the learning process for developing the Tehedek, Badaentute rhythm as a rhythm in Likurai dance for students in the second and fourth semesters of the Unwira Kupang music education study program. This research is qualitative in nature, the research method used is field action. Data collection techniques use field studies, interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research indicate that the bibiliku percussion ensemble learning process is carried out through the planning stage and the presentation stage. The planning stage begins with communicating with students to plan the time and place for practicing the bibiliku percussion ensemble to accompany the likurai dance. The learning stage begins with preparing the tools to be used, the process of practicing rhythm patterns which are carried out repeatedly, followed by giving examples by the trainer, followed by adjusting the dance movements and floor patterns. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that learning the Bibiliku ensemble by students who have never played Bibiliku in the form of a percussion ensemble must be carried out through an iterative process with great patience so as to produce unity in the desired meaning. rhythm and beauty.
