Abstract

This research is entitled "Supervision of the Quality of Refillable Drinking Water by the Health Service in Maulafa District, Kupang City." The problem formulation is how to monitor the quality of refillable drinking water in Maulafa District, Kupang City by the Kupang City Health Service. The aim of this research is to describe and analyze Supervision of Refill Drinking Water Quality by the Kupang City Public Health Service in Maulafa District, Kupang City To explain the main problem in the title above, a theory of supervision was built with a focus on the quality of refillable drinking water by the Kupang City Health Service based on aspects of assistance, monitoring and control. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method and the techniques used are interview and documentation techniques The results of the research show (1) Assistance carried out using the model of providing information or knowledge by the Kupang City Health Service regarding health problems and the feasibility of refill drinking water depots, technical training by the Kupang City Service to refill drinking water depot agents in Maulafa District. Kupang City (2) Monitoring or direct observation of the quality of drinking water carried out by the Kupang City Health Service is quite good, but it has not been able to reach all Drinking Water Depots so there are still depots that have not been directly monitored at all by the Health Service or Community Health Centers in their working areas (3) The evaluation carried out by the Kupang City Health Service in monitoring the quality of refillable drinking water by providing solutions to the problems found was not implemented optimally because the monitoring process carried out did not reach a comprehensive scope so what the problem was could not be a recommendation for improvement. Based on research analysis then it can be concluded supervision of the Kupang City Health Service regarding the existence of refillable drinking water depots in Maulafa District as contained in the implementation of supervisory duties for refillable drinking water depots (DAMIU) is carried out by the District/City Health Service.
