Abstract

This research is entitled: Implementation of the Social Assistance Program for Uninhabitable Houses (RTLH) for the Poor in Ketang Village, Lelak District, Manggarai Regency. The formulation of the problem in this research is, (1) How is the Social Assistance Program for Uninhabitable Homes (RTLH) implemented for poor communities in Ketang Village, Lelak District, Manggarai Regency? (2) What are the obstacles to the implementation of the RTLH Social Assistance Program for the Poor in Ketang Village, Lelak District, Manggarai Regency? The aim of this research is (1) to explain and find out how the RTLH Social Assistance Program is implemented for the Poor in Ketang Village, Lelak District, Manggarai Regency. (2) to find out what obstacles there are in implementing the RTLH Social Assistance Program for the Poor in Ketang Village, Lelak District, Manggarai Regency. The benefit of this research is that it can provide input and study for the Ketang Village government regarding the implementation of the RTLH program. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The sample was determined using purposive sampling. Data sources include primary data and secondary data. The data was analyzed qualitatively to describe the RTLH social assistance program for the poor in Ketang Village, Lelak District, Manggarai Regency. The theory used in this research is implementation. Implementation is an action or implementation of a plan that has been prepared carefully and in detail. The indicators used are implementation of program implementation, physical budget planning, program implementation. From the results of the analysis it can be concluded thatidentification of program target groups in accordance with established criteria, that the implementation of this social assistance program follows established procedures, the amount of the budget provided by the village government to the community is 10 million and the aid funds are not money but materials, as long asThe ongoing program did not encounter any problems or obstacles faced by the community or the village government. Everything went well, according to the procedures set by the village government. Therefore, recommendations for the village government and community are: (1) There is a need to increase the community's understanding and active participation regarding the uninhabitable housing (RTLH) social assistance program, in order to expedite and reduce costs for the community when implementing activities take place, (2) There needs to be additional funding related to the social assistance program for uninhabitable housing (RTLH) so that people do not look for too much additional funding. If the government provided more funds, people would not look for too many additional funds.
