Abstract
Thesis with the title Analysis of the Influence of Internal Audit, E-Learning, Interim Assignments, and Self-Efficacy on Employee Work Engagement of Bank Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) Indonesia in East Nusa Tenggara Province by Apriance L. Amol NIM 811231002 under the guidance of Dr. Simon Sia Niha, S.E., M.Si and Pater Dr. Paskalis Seran, SVD, Dipl Theol, MBA. The purpose of this study was to determine 1) how respondents perceive internal audit, e-learning, interim assignments, self-efficacy, and work engagement of SMBC Indonesia Bank employees in NTT province, and 2) the effect of internal audit, e-learning, interim assignments, and self-efficacy on the work engagement of SMBC Indonesia Bank employees in NTT province, both partially and simultaneously. This study is quantitative research with an explanatory approach used to explore the influence of independent variables (internal audit, e-learning, interim assignments, and self-efficacy) on the dependent variable (work engagement of SMBC Indonesia Bank employees in the NTT province). A survey using WhatsApp questionnaires was distributed to respondents working at Bank SMBC Indonesia in NTT province, resulting in 40 valid responses. Respondent profiles were categorized based on demographics. Regression modeling and analysis were used to test and estimate the hypothesized influences. This study provides a comprehensive, systematic, and fundamental understanding of the influence of internal audit, e-learning, interim assignments, and self-efficacy on the work engagement of SMBC Indonesia Bank employees in NTT province, both partially and simultaneously. This type of study, to the best of the author's knowledge, is the first of its kind. The level of employee engagement at SMBC Indonesia Bank in the NTT region is low. Partially, internal audit has a positive but insignificant effect on work engagement, e-learning has no positive and significant effect on work engagement, interim assignments have a positive and significant effect on work engagement, while self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on work engagement of SMBC Indonesia Bank employees in NTT province. Simultaneously testing internal audit, e-learning, interim assignments, and self-efficacy together has a positive and significant effect on the work engagement of SMBC Indonesia Bank employees in NTT province. This study was limited to 40 respondents and focused on 1 private bank in NTT Province. Reference sources are limited. Future research is expected to expand the number of respondents and references, as well as the scope of the company or agency.
