Abstract

Kefamenanu is the capital of North Central Timor Regency, located in East Nusa Tenggara Province. The city has an important role as a center of religious activity, especially for the Catholic community in eastern Indonesia. One of the main criteria for an ideal church is its ability to reflect the values of religious teachings, both through its spiritual dimension, architectural form, and interior design. In addition, the church must also be a space that allows the establishment of harmonious relationships between people and God, as well as between fellow congregants. Thus, the church can be a real place for the realization of the love of the Lord Jesus Christ in the lives of His people. The research method used in this writing is in the form of data collection methods and analysis methods, in the data collection method in the form of primary data derived from direct observation techniques. While in the analysis method in the form of theories used in this study. The redesign process of St. John Pemandi Naesleu Church using the concept of wastu citra aims to integrate elements of local wisdom and utilize local materials in the design of church buildings.
