Abstract

Stunting is a serious health issue in Indonesia, characterized by low height-for-age in children, caused by malnutrition, infections, and adverse environmental factors. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of stunting mitigation programs in Penfui Village, Mualafa District, Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara. Using a qualitative approach, this research refers to Duncan's theory in Steers (1985), which includes three indicators: Goal Achievement, Integration, and Adaptation. The results indicate that the achievement of program goals heavily relies on the frequency and quality of nutritious food provision. Integration involves collaboration between agencies and the community, while adaptation includes needs analysis and appropriate educational methods. Involvement of community leaders and the use of digital media for education have proven effective. Ongoing training for health workers is also necessary to address nutritional issues. In conclusion, synergy between the government, community, and health cadres is crucial in sustainably reducing stunting rates.
